Online Seva for the Shakti Peethas

A Shakti Peetha is a shrine marking where a part of Sati's body is said to have fallen as Shiva carried her across the earth, and where the Goddess is therefore worshipped as pure energy. The number is not settled: the Devi Bhagavata, Tantra Chudamani, and Pithanirnaya traditions count 51, 52, and 108 respectively, and they disagree on which shrines belong and which relic fell where — so any list presented as definitive is one tradition among several. Kamakhya in Guwahati, Kalighat in Kolkata, and Jwalamukhi in Kangra are named in nearly all of them. When you cannot travel to a Peetha yourself, a verified Sevak offers your prayer to the Devi there and sends you same-day proof.
