Choosing a place of worship
Not a curated list of famous sites. If it can be searched for, we can send someone.
Most people do not want the largest temple in the state. They want the one behind the bus stand, in the town they grew up in, where their grandmother went every Tuesday. That place is on the map. It counts.
Searching
Search by name — Shri Khatu Shyam Ji Mandir. Or by place — gurudwara in Patiala. Or by both, when the name is common. Results show the locality, the town and the state, so you can tell two Hanuman mandirs apart.
Around 1.2 million places of worship in India are searchable this way.
If it is not covered yet
Some places have no Sevak nearby. When that happens you will see the distance to the closest one and what the travel adds to the price, and you can decide. You may also register the place and be told when someone is serving that area.
We do not quietly substitute a different temple. If we cannot go where you asked, we say so.
Small and unlisted shrines can be added by hand. Send a photograph and a description of where it is, and we will try to reach it.
Which faiths
Hindu, Muslim, Sikh, Christian, Jain, Buddhist, Parsi, and the local shrines that belong to no formal tradition at all. The tradition of the place decides what may be offered there — not us.
