Pujas & archanas
Your name and gotra read aloud, and the offering made in the way that temple makes it.
Commonly requested
- Archana — the name and gotra read during the offering. The most commonly requested seva, and the simplest.
- Abhishek — the ritual bathing of the deity. Performed by the temple priest, timed to the temple's own schedule.
- Deepam — lamps lit and offered in your name.
- Annadanam — a meal offered on your behalf, where the temple runs one.
- Vastra samarpan — cloth offered to the deity, where the temple permits it.
Names and gotra
Write the name as your family says it, and the gotra if you use one. If you do not know the gotra, leave it — most temples will proceed without it, and your Sevak will tell you beforehand if this particular one will not.
Prasad Coming soon
Prasad delivery is not available yet. For now, prasad from your seva is distributed at the temple in the ordinary way, and this is stated on the seva before you pay.
Courier to an Indian address is being built and will be added as a separate option. Until it is genuinely working, we would rather not offer it.
Larger rituals — a homam, a full abhishek on a festival day — are booked against the temple's calendar and may fall several days out. The earliest honest date is shown before you pay.
